Talita Fullard founded CannaCure in 2016. Her beloved, rescue dog Daisy was seriously ill with cancer and she was informed by her veterinarian that he could not assist in this case and suggested euthanization as her dog was suffering due to lack of appetite, pain, and restricted mobility.

Believing that there must be an alternative she started researching possible alternatives, and with extensive research, she found that CBD has a tremendous number of benefits for canine companions and even though research is still underway for its effectiveness in treating several ailments, there are a few factors that scientists have proven to be alleviated, and in some cases potentially cured.

One of the most obvious uses of CBD has been to increase appetites, reduce stress, and decrease pain for animals. It can go a long way in relieving aches and pains, and it has also been found to help treat inflammation and give animals a more comfortable life.

Finally, there is also a significant body of research that suggests CBD can help fight cancer and get rid of tumors. Of course, nothing has come forward to formally prove that CBD can cure cancer, but it is factual that it helps treat nausea, loss of appetite, and the pain that can result from the cruel disease and often harsh treatments.

An extra positive in CBD treatments is that, unlike some traditional prescription pet medications, medical cannabis has no life-threatening side effects with proper dosage, and it does not damage the kidney, liver, or GI tract.

After careful consideration, Talita started treatments with CBD and Daisy started improving. Overjoyed, she noticed that Daisy showed increased appetite and mobility as well as decreased anxiety. CBD treatments, however helpful, proved difficult to administer and an idea was born. Biscuits, tasty animal-friendly, biscuits.
